The French film takes place in the centre of France, 1922. Suzanne, a young novelist lacking inspiration decides to isolate herself in the countryside to write her new book. As Suzanne discovers a sealed-up room in the basement of her house, she starts writing oddly easily. Hallucinations and nightmares soon strike her while the villagers grow worried as several little girls mysteriously disappear.
I’ve got to say, I couldn’t be more excited for Deadlight. If you’ve played Shadow Complex, I would definitely compare it to that. But in a dark zombie like way. A 2D’esq sidescroller with incredibly detailed 3D backgrounds make this game super original and kick ass looking. If you head past the break you can check out a developer diary from Tequila Works all about Deadlight. You can tell these guys love what they do, and are meticulous about the creation process.
