The Fantasia Film Festival played host to the North American premiere of Entertainment One and Paul Campion’s The Devil’s Rock, a very small Nazi-demon tale that’s a perfect solution to weekend boredom.
“Although most of the gore comes off screen, and it’s hefty on the exposition, ‘The Devil’s Rock’ is a satisfying little movie that’s a perfect rental on one of those boring Sunday nights.”
The horror pic is set in the Channel Islands on the eve of D-Day where two Kiwi Commandos are sent to destroy German gun emplacements in order to distract Hitler’s forces away from Normandy. They discover a Nazi occult plot to unleash demonic forces to win the war.
