I feel as if the wheels have firmly come off the wagon here at Graphic Content lately. We have Nazi-vampires falling out of their birthday suits, a hell-born bovine, a threesome involving a goat, and more skin per-capita than Jeffrey Dahmer has in his refrigerator. (Too soon?) Then again what would be a news week without it? So in keeping with the spirit of the section we have gotten our dirty little hands on an all new 5 page preview of the third issue of “RAISE THE DEAD”, and if you make the jump you can get all the details. So, we try our best to pick on everyone equally (Twatlight not withstanding), but there are just some cases where that is impossible. (Ex – Twatlight) Case in point: the fifth page in the following preview of the 4th issue of Patricia Briggs’ latest “MERCY THOMPSON” story-arc, “MOON CALLED”, in which the title character drops her top, but seems to be missing a very important detail. The “DRESDEN FILES” has become less of a cult phenomena and more of a household name in recent years with a TV series, a series of novels, and the comic book series from Dynamite Entertainment. If you’re one of the many that has already caught the “DRESDEN FILES” fever (far less deadly than the “Bieber Fever” and a lot less itchy) then you’ll be happy to hear that we have a 5 page preview of the newest issue that drops tomorrow. Don’t get me wrong. I love that there are a plethora of new genre titles coming out this Fall/Winter, but why does it seem like they are all being released on the wrong holiday? Today Dynamite Publishing released info on the newest entry in the “RAISE THE DEAD” series which will be released this Christmas. Scroll down for all the details.

Now that it is official that the ever popular (controversial) Garth Ennis (“PREACHER”, “CROSSED”) original “THE BOYS” is on its way out you can bet your money on there being plenty of loose ends tied up, and plenty of characters killed off. While reading the new comic Freddy, Jason, Ash, Nightmare Warriors; I saw an ad for the new upcoming Army of Darkness comic. Ash Saves Obama brings together two powerhouses this August, Ash Campbell and President Obama. This series like it will be the usually Army of Darkness fare but with the Presdient since Obama is so hot right now in comics. I really don’t know what’s hotter in comics, zombies or the presdient? Super Zombies, from Dynamite Entertainment is out this week. A quick synopsis of the story is that the world is filled with super-heroes who crave human flesh. Now if this sounds familiar, it sounds a lot like the Marvel Zombies series. I have not read this and I hope to pick this item up on Wednesday, but I wanted to know what everyone else thought. Is this a blatant rip-off to cash in on the marvel zombie hype or is this an homage of Marvel Zombies and trying to improve on a new sub-genre. More info about the comic after the break…

Dynamite Entertainment is coming out with something pretty different this April, with the Complete Dracula. A reworking of Bram Stoker’s Dracula that changes the entire storyline. This might be pretty interesting so we will keep you posted as more info arises. More info after the break…
