Review: ‘Epic Kill’ Volume 1

Raffaele Ienco’s Epic Kill follows the journey of a young woman named Song as she evolves from amnesiac to assassin in five short issues. Girls And Swords In ‘Epic Kill’ #1

Image Comics has yet another gore-filled book heading you way this May called Epic Kill. The series looks awesome, for severe lack of better words. It follows the story of a young super assassin who has recently become the target of the President, and he sends his squad of international hitmen to take her down. “Epic Kill” sounds like Kill Bill meets Sucker Punch with incredible kill scenes that horror fans will swoon over. The series is done entirely by Toronto native, Raffaele Ienco. Peep the preview after the the break. READ MORE

Song must battle her way through swarms of enemies in order to find the man who sent them. I feel a Kill Bill vibe from this book, and Image promises to live up to the title with at least one epic kill in each instalment. Read on for the skinny…
