I’ve Just About Had It With ‘Ghostbusters 3′

This entire Ghostbusters 3 circus is officially pissing me off. Every single person involved is a f*cking liar, or spinning their words, or playing semantics (sift through all of the finger pointing). There’s obviously a problem somewhere as the wheel is missing the proper spokes to get rolling. It’s been promised over and over, only now attached director Ivan Reitman is calling everyone a liar. “Virtually everything you’ve read on the internet [about Ghostbusters III] is not accurate,” he tells Cinema Blend, adding that they still need to get the cast together first. “[We] have some actors who seem to be interested in doing it, a ton of interest in the film.” Yeah, I’m sure it’s all bull crap, even when we broke the news that he’d be directing. According to his brash response, I guess he’s not? Ridiculous. Columbia, put your foot down, slam a fist, it’s time to get this goddamn movie off the ground already.

Rumor of the Day: ‘Saturday Night Live’ Crew for ‘Ghostbusters 3′?

Upon new rumors and casting calls for Ghostbusters 3 making their way online, website What’s Playing did some digging through their Sony Pictures contact who may have leaked some potential casting news. “Asked whether he knew anything about [Anna Faris] being onboard, he replied ‘Dunno. First I’ve heard of it. Heard Will Forte’s name mentioned and Bill Hader, but not Faris. I’m not in on all that though, so she could be; [Sony] does like her’. ” Forte and Hader landing roles alongside “Saturday Night Live” alumni could be pretty freakin’ cool. Obviously, none of this is confirmed so keep this filed under “rumor” until further notice. Being directed by Ivan Reitman, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver are all said to be returning.
