Why so many gamers failed to go out and support such an incredible title is disappointing, but at least Time Magazine’s taking the time to give the game some much needed love. My fondness for Alan Wake is pretty well-known since it was a mere half skull away from a perfect score in our review, before we switched to our new and far superior review system.
Time discusses the game’s Hitchcockian feel and approach to character development, specifically Alan Wake’s troubles prior to the events in the game. There’s a lot to love about the game, including it’s excellent DLC and I sincerely hope the game’s growing cult status will keep it selling as many copies it requires to get us Alan Wake 2.
