['Evil Dead' Month] Members Of The Black Dahlia Murder, Paradise Lost, Napalm Death, And More Talk The ‘Evil Dead’ Films

The new Evil Dead film will be coming out next Friday and it seems like the entire horror fanbase is on pins and needles awaiting its release. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve seen such hype for a horror release since I began here at Bloody-Disgusting back in late 2009. From the look of it, it’s a film that not only respects the horror fanbase but is a film made for us. Still, having not seen the film, I can only wait with you and hope for the best.

This excitement and fervor has swept into the music world and members of some of the most extreme and intense bands out there want to share their thoughts on the original films and the upcoming remake. Head on below for thoughts from members of Paradise Lost, The Black Dahlia Murder, Monuments, Tech N9ne, Bonded By Blood, Palisades, Broken Hope, and a whole slew more! READ MORE

Grand Supreme Blood Court Unveil Artwork For ‘Bow Down Before The Blood Court’

When this popped into my email, I knew that I HAD to check it out. And, lo and behold, it’s exactly the type of thing that I should be sharing with you, my horror loving readers. Dutch death metal band Grand Supreme Blood Court have released the cover artwork for their upcoming debut album Bow Down Before The Blood Court, which comes out Nov. 20th in N. America (Nov. 12th in Europe) via Century Media Records. The album was mixed by Dan Swanö (Bloodbath, Edge Of Sanity) The bloody and violent cover can be seen below.

Grand Registrar Zuur states, “Finally, the BLOOD COURT has become a real and totally devastating band! While some might sneer at the similarities with the ASPHYX line-up, as soon as you listen to this beast of an album you will realize that with Eric and me on guitar, GSBC musically takes another route and offers a different kind of riffing and some sick yet harmonic, epic pieces. No matter if you’re into ASPHYX or any of the other bands related to the BLOOD COURT, we invested enough blood, spirit and energy into this record to know that it will not disappoint anyone into straight-forward, face-melting death metal. No compromises.READ MORE
