Heading int the ninth day if filming, The Lords of Salem director Rob Zombie has just added Judy Geeson to the massive B-movie star cast. She will play “Lacy Doyle”, owner and landlady of Heidi Hawthorne’s apartment.

She joins Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Torsten Voges, Bruce Dern, Sheri Moon Zombie, Dee Wallace, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, Lisa Marie, Maria Conchita Alonso, Ken Foree, Bruce Davidson and Christopher Knight in the flick produced by Jason Blum (Insidious, Paranormal Activity).

Rob Zombie’s first behind-the-scenes image from the set of his now filming The Lords of Salem revealed a new cast member.

Bruce Davidson – star of both X-Men and Camp Hell – is pictured with Zombie and co-star Maria Conchita Alonso.

Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Torsten Voges, Sheri Moon Zombie, Dee Wallace, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, Lisa Marie and Ken Foree all star, with shooting now taking place at a local recording studio here in Los Angeles.

Rob Zombie Snags ’80s Legend for ‘Lords of Salem’

’80s genre star Barbara Crampton – known for roles in Re-Animator, From Beyond, Castle Freak, Puppet Master and even Chopping Mall – has landed a role in The Lords of Salem, Rob Zombie’s small-town horror film that’s currently lensing for a release in 2012.

Crampton, who also plays a large role in the festival smash hit You’re Next (which rejuvenated her acting “bug” once again), will play “Virginia Cable”, a camera operator for a local kid’s show at Salem Public Access TV called “Lobster Joe’s Fishy Fun Show”.

She joins the previous announced Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Torsten Voges, Bruce Dern, Sheri Moon Zombie, Dee Wallace, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, Lisa Marie, Maria Conchita Alonso and Ken Foree.

‘Lords of Salem’ Has a Nosey Wife

Salem is a popular town, filled with B-movie stars. Maria Conchita Alonso is the latest to join the cast of Rob Zombie’s The Lords of Salem where she’ll be playing “Alice Matthias”, wife of Salem author Francis (Bruce Dern) Matthias. “Should Francis have listened to his wife and minded his own business?” asks Zombie.

Maria is best known for her roles in the hit films Colors, The Running Man, Moscow on the Hudson, Vampire’s Kiss and Predator 2.

Shooting next week, Rob Zombie has added Lisa Marie to the growing cast of The Lords of Salem.

She will portray “Priscilla Reed”, a woman who gives her all to support “the cause of the coven” in merry old Salem.

Lisa hasn’t appeared on screen since 2001 in Tim Buron’s remake of Planet of the Apes. Before that fans obviously remember her from such films as Mars Attacks! Sleepy Hollow and of course her turn as “Vamipra” in Ed Wood.

Dee plays the role of “Sonny,” a self-help guru. Shooting begins in less than two weeks.

Out of all of the casting for Rob Zombie’s The Lords of Salem, I’m kind of shocked he’s yet to announce the obvious addition of Sheri Moon Zombie, which we’ve now confirmed. Sheri has had a role in all of Zombie’s films from House of 1,000 Corpses to The Devil’s Rejects, Halloween and Halloween II.

Rob Zombie announced today that Academy Award nominated actor Bruce Dern has joined the cast of The Lords of Salem, which begins lensing this fall from the producing team behind Insidious and Paranormal Activity.

Bruce is taking on the role of “Francis Matthias”, author of the book “Satan’s Last Stand – The Truth About The Salem Witch Trials.” Francis may know a little too much about witches for his own good.
