The Scumdogs of the universe, our masters and slavers, GWAR have announced that they will be embarking on the “Fate Or Chaos” tour this fall. Support will come from DevilDriver, Legacy Of Disorder, and Cancer Bats. The band will be leaving the comfort of their Antarctic base where they were alternating between recording a new album and hibernating in order to bring you almost two months of vicious, violent, viscous (gross) shows.

GWAR front-thing Oderus Urungus explains, “Once again GWAR returns, hoof and nail, to our old stomping grounds, North America, on a tour of utter destruction, and this time nothing less than the greatest power in the universe will do as our primary victim! That’s right, this time GWAR, fresh from our battle with Death, takes on another of history’s biggest a**holes…God himself! Primordial Announce Short US Tour: Playing Progpower XIII

Irish metal band Primordial has confirmed a string of tour dates this September with While Heaven Wept and Cormorant. The tour will culminate with Primordial’s appearance at Progpower XIII, which also features Epica, Symphony X, and more.

Vocalist Alan ‘Nemtheanga’ Averill elaborates: “Long and hard is the road…we are well aware that over the years we haven’t played in North America remotely as much as we have wanted to. There are reasons of course, mostly economic and some small amount of simple bad luck that have prevented us over the years but we are finally making it back for the first time since our full tour as part of Paganfest in 2009. Admittedly, yes it is only seven dates and was fleshed out around the Progpower festival on the last day in Atlanta, but with a will there is a way and here we are with a mini tour to announce. We are patently aware there will be lots of disappointed Primordial fans in North America we won’t be hitting their area, but hopefully this will sow a few more seeds which means we might return in 2013. So for now…the seven dates of hell…see you down the front…”

Check out the tour dates below. Ticket information for Progpower can be found here. READ MORE

Job For A Cowboy Bassist To Miss Several Summer Slaughter Dates

Nick Schendzielos, bassist of Job For A Cowboy, will be forced to sit out the first few weeks of the Summer Slaughter Tour due to his girlfriend being involved in a head-on collision on her scooter. Mike “Gunface” McKenzie from The Red Chord will be taking his place during that time. All tour dates for the festival, which is headlined by Cannibal Corpse and features bands such as Periphery, Between The Buried and Me, The Faceless, and more, can be seen below.

Comments Schendzielos: “Hey friends: On June 28, immediately after landing in Boston to rehearse for Puerto Rico/Summer Slaughter, my girlfriend was in a head-on collision on her scooter. She sustained very serious head and bodily injuries. I flew right home, and we’ve been in the ICU for a week and are still in the hospital to make sure everything is okay. She needs 24/7 supervision for at least two weeks once we get out of here, so I’m very grateful to announce that Gunface from The Red Chord is going to help me out filling in on Summer Slaughter until I can meet back up with it. We love the dude very much and it’s going to be really cool for both JFAC and TRC fans to see. Enormous thanks for understanding this difficult situation and I’ll be back as soon as possible!”

Adds McKenzie: “I’m excited to be playing with JFAC on this tour. Great dudes in this band as well as in the bands on Summer Slaughter. Playing bass is a little different for me but definitely an interesting challenge. I’m definitely looking forward to getting out on the road again. Nick’s bass work is incredible and I’m working hard to get all of his parts down. Sending positive vibes out to him and his lady.”

My best wishes go out to Schendzielos’ girlfriend on a speedy recovery. READ MORE

New OSI Video For ‘For Nothing’ Is Kinda Creepy

osifornothingscreencap New OSI Video For For Nothing Is Kinda Creepy

If you’ve read my review for O.S.I.‘s Fire Make Thunder, you’ll know that I’m 1) a big fan of the band and 2) a big fan of their newest album. So seeing a video for their song For Nothing was released, I just had to check it out. And guess what? It’s pretty much tailor made for horror fans.

Shot entirely in black and white, the video uses swirling fog, creepy skulls, and this weird face that has no nose whatsoever gently singing along. I definitely recommend checking out this video below and giving this album a listen. READ MORE

[Exclusive] NSFW: Goatwhore When Steel And Bone Meet Video Premiere
Bloody-Disgusting is excited to bring you the exclusive music video premiere for Goatwhore‘s When Steel And Bone Meet, which comes off their most recent album, Blood For The Master (iTunes). The video features the band rocking out in the famous house of horrors, House Of Shock while interspliced cuts of two very scantily clad women lick blood off of each other (I won’t lie, it’s kinda hot). The latter is the reason that I hesitantly give this video a ‘NSFW’ label. I’d rather NOT get you readers fired, know what I mean? Check out the awesome video below!
Goatwhore will be hitting Europe this spring with 3 Inches Of Blood, Angelus Apatrida, and Havok. Tour dates are listed below.
