Behind The Scenes Of Alan Moore’s ‘Jimmy’s End’

A few weeks back Alan Moore and partner in crime, Mitch Jenkins, released Jimmy’s End, the first part of their short film series. Alan Moore’s flare for the weird is at the forefront in the 30 minute-short, and it’s definitely worth a watch. Watch Alan Moore’s New 30 Minute Film, ‘Jimmy’s End’, In Full!!

Over the weekend, Alan Moore (“Watchmen”, “V For Vendetta, “From Hell”) and Mitch Jenkins‘ new film, Jimmy’s End, was released online, for free. The film is part of a larger series that the duo are working on, titled The Show, involving the same characters and setting.

Jimmy’s End offers up a fanciful, disturbing, and oddly alluring 1950s neo-noir world. Not surprisingly, it strongly evokes a similar feeling to David Lynch’s more contemporary work with its unsettling dream-like quality and uncomfortable sexual tension.
