AxeWound (Featuring Members Of Bullet For My Valentine And Cancer Bats) Release Video For “Cold”

AxeWound has released a video for “Cold”, the first single off their upcoming debut album Vultures, which comes out Oct. 2nd via The End Records (pre-order here). The band is comprised of singer/guitarist Matt Tuck (Bullet For My Valentine), singer Liam Cormier (Cancer Bats), drummer Jason Bowld (Pitchshifter), guitarist Mike Kingswood (Glamour Of The Kill), and bassist Joe Copcutt (ex-Rise To Remain). You can watch the video below.

It was very intense, very demanding but that’s how we wanted it to be,” reasons Tuck. “No pre-writing, no rehearsing… just booking a studio and going in and doing a song a day. We wanted to capture something that happened right there and then.

Says Cormier: “The record is great because it’s been made by a bunch of friends who are just enjoying themselves playing together and doing something that’s different to what they normally do.READ MORE

Exclusive Video Premiere: Nevermore ‘Emptiness Unobstructed’

Bloody-Disgusting is thrilled to exclusively premiere the video for ‘Emptiness Unobstructed’, the first single off of the new Nevermore album, ‘The Obsidian Conspiracy’! The video is directed by Nigel Crane (Lacuna Coil, Slipknot, Pitchshifter). Here is what singer Warrel Dane had to say about the shoot:

“Working with director Nigel Crane was a great experience. We spent a day walking around the white cliffs in Dover the day before the London show and we couldn’t possibly be happier with the end result. The live part was shot at the O2 Academy Islington in London and we only performed the song twice that night so we had to make these takes count, so we went all out. It was pretty amazing that most of the audience knew all of the words even though we were a number of days away from the album’s release. Thanks for checking this out and we hope you enjoy it.”
