Huntsman

This Is The Story Of ‘Huntsman: The Orphanage’ As Told By Grimhaven’s Troubled Caretaker

Jasper Croad is the caretaker at the Grimhaven Orphanage where twelve orphans mysteriously disappeared back in 1897. Understandably, this has had a pretty significant impact on the man’s psyche, as he holds himself responsible for the children’s disappearance. The orphans were taken by the Huntsman, a creature that shares some of the traits of the Slenderman in that he has a mean sense of style and enjoys taking things that don’t belong to him.

Huntsman: The Orphanage is one of the more promising takes on the budding Slenderman subgenre. One of the things I enjoy most about these games is they don’t rely on blood, gore, and violence to be scary. Don’t get me wrong, I love those things too, but it’s nice to get a brief reprieve from all that. Listen to Croad’s story after the break!

Leatherface Won’t See Trial in ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D’ — Script Detailed!

The secrets have been out of the bag since day one, and information from Lionsgate’s Texas Chainsaw revival is leaked at every turn.

To segue you into the latest news, let’s recap: John Luessenhop is directing from a screenplay by Kirsten Elms, Stephen Susco and Debra Sullivan. Luessenhop helped with the script. Genre fav Bill Moseley – who also starred in Texas Chainsaw Massacre II – landed the first lead role. And we confirmed that Lionsgate has acquired the rights to use the official title The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D (as opposed to the previously announced Leatherface 3D).

We also broke the news that the seventh incarnation is a direct sequel to Tobe Hooper’s classic 1974 film that follows the lead character, Heather, who along with her friends, travel to Texas in order to collect an inheritance. It was implied that Heather would find out she’s related to the infamous Leatherface.

Now, website What’s Playing is reporting that they’ve got their blood-soaked mitts on the actual screenplay — and I believe ‘em considering they’ve got a reputable team behind ‘em. If you’re not much for spoilers, turn away this instant, otherwise read inside for a breakdown of the bizarre new legend of Leatherface….

The Secret World Developer Diary Shows How Deep The Game Really Goes

I don’t play MMOs. I tried Final Fantasy XI a couple times, but I just couldn’t deal with it. Maybe it was because it was on PC, or maybe because I didn’t have any friends to play it with. I am however 100 percent ready to devote my life to The Secret World. If I can get a couple of friends by my side then I would be totally set. The dev diary below goes in depth on the story and missions of the game.

The really great thing is the amount of voiced characters. It really brings a game to life having the emotions of all the many characters being voiced and acted out. The game was said the be released for the PC and Xbox 360 (release dates unknown), but I’m still holding my breath on a 360 verison. READ MORE

I Don’t Think You Guys Are Too Into The Fear Series, Confirm Or Deny?

Views tell me everything. If I post news about a game and nobody looks at it, I get the assumption nobody likes it, or no one is into it. As far as the Fear series goes, it’s a fairly big and popular game. I mean, they cranked out 2 sequels fairly quick since the originals release in 2005. But you just aren’t giving it the time of day.

So that makes me wonder, do you like the series, hate it, meh it? Tell me, I’m curious. Also, the story trailer above will give you some insight on the fucked up family that is Alma and her two sons, Point Man and Paxton Fettel. Fear 3 this May on the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. READ MORE
