Possessed Woman Speaks Four Languages In Latest Devil Inside Clip

Taking cues from every exorcism flick in existence, Paramount Insurge has released a new clip from The Devil Inside that depicts the possessed women speaking in four different languages. Been there, done that, always kinda cool…

In addition, the studio has released an iPhone app for the Brent Bell-directed exorcism flick that can be downloaded on iTunes. It asks “Is the Devil inside you?” Find out if you’re possessed with the app.

In theaters January 6, “Her entire life, Isabella Torelli believed her mother brutally murdered three people because she was clinically insane. After being told the murders occurred during an exorcism she sets out to discover the truth. Paramount’s The Devil Inside has hit a certain saturation point (at least in Los Angeles) with its eerie billboards and provocative trailers. But the scope of the film apparently stretches out beyond the snippets we’ve been given. I recently hopped on the phone with Simon Quarterman, who plays Ben in the film, to get an idea of how this film sizes up against other recent exorcism movies (and found footage films in general). What he had to say made me hopeful that this film might set itself apart from the pack.

For those of you who live or die based on MPAA ratings, here’s three films that are locked and loaded for release in 2012 — all landed an R-rating.

Paramount Insurge’s The Devil Inside, in theaters January 6, has been rated R “for disturbing violent content and grisly images, and for language including some sexual references.”

Sony Screen Gems’ Underworld Awakening, opening January 20, has been rated R “for violence and gore, and for some language.”

Lastly is Open Road Films’ The Grey, in theaters January 27, has been rated R “for violence/disturbing content including bloody images, and for pervasive language.”

Paramount Insurge has given MTV a kinda stupid holiday greeting card for Brent Bell’s The Devil Inside, their exorcism flick opening in theaters January 6, 2012. The video plays like a video greeting card with a screaming woman at the end. The concept appeared to be heading in the right direction, but kind of missed their own sentiment that if God exists, so does the Devil. Whatever, the movie looks cool and that chick is all kinds of crazy creepy.

I can’t believe January is already in our grasps, which is probably why Paramount Pictures has just launched their full-on campaign for The Devil Inside, their found footage exorcism flick from Stay Alive director Brent Bell.

I love that Paramount Insurge are playing their cards close to their chest with Brent Bell’s The Devil Inside, their exorcism flick opening in theaters January 6, 2012. There are some good teases in the trailer and TV spot, but they’ve gone out of their way to keep the imagery to a minimum. IMO the less known about a film before going in, the more impact. Full Trailer for The Devil Inside Takes a Stab at Exorcisms

Just before everyone turned off their computers for the weekend, Paramount’s Insurge Pictures provided us with a viral teaser, one sheet and “living” poster for their micro-budget franchise starter, The Devil Inside, which comes from director and co-writer William Brent Bell (Stay Alive).

Opening in theaters January 6, 2012, the studio is using Paranormal Activity 3 as a launchpad and has now released the first full trailer for the found footage chiller that stars Bonnie Morgan, Fernanda Andrade, Simon Quarterman, Preston James Hillier, Evan Helmuth, Suzan Crowley, D.T. Carney, and Ionut Grama.

The trailer is pretty awesome as it follows a girl who is scared that she may have the “crazy” gene where, like her mother, she’ll eventually go insane thinking she’s possessed. It looks like a mix between The Rite, The Exorcist and The Last Exorcism — but we all know how hard it is to deliver a truly scary possession film. ([REC]2 and The Exorcist are the only two extraordinary ones that pop into my head.) And as good as the trailer is, it gives away way too much. Hopefully, much like Paranormal Activity 3, none of the trailer footage is actually in the final version of the film…

Using Paranormal Activity 3 as a launchpad, Bloody Disgusting scored your first ever look at the creepy as f*ck lip-splitting teaser one sheet (standard and “living” version), along with an even more disturbing viral video. The video plays a call to 911 where a woman confesses to murdering three people and asks for them to send help.
