Upcoming Line of Blind Box Horror Figures Includes ‘IT,’ ‘Elm Street’ & ‘Exorcist’

Yes, that’s absolutely a Father Merrin toy.

Funko’s line of blind-box “Mystery Minis” has given us toys of most of our favorite horror icons across a handful of waves, and it looks like The Loyal Subjects is taking a page out of Funko’s playbook for their own line of bind box vinyl horror toys.

Each measuring 3 1/4″ tall, with 10 points of articulation, the company’s “Horror Wave 1” blind box vinyl toys includes characters from A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, The Exorcist and the 1990 version of IT. There are 12 possible toys in total:

  • Freddy Krueger
  • Freddy Krueger (Surgeon)
  • Freddy Krueger (Chest of Souls)
  • Jason Voorhees
  • Jason Voorhees (Part 2)
  • Roy Burns
  • Pennywise
  • Pennywise Spider
  • Pennwise (With Balloons)
  • Regan MacNeil
  • Regan MacNeil in Bed
  • Father Merrin

Each toy includes a collector card, and many of them come with accessories. Surgeon Freddy, for example, has a bone saw, while Part 2 Jason wields his trusty pick-axe.

According to Nerdy Collectibles, these will begin shipping next month.

  • Surgeon Freddy is the best. In this dearth of Friday the 13th content, I hate that merchandisers and video game developers mostly keep using Jason’s reboot design. Not only was it ripped off from Freddy vs. Jason, but the original suit from Parts 3-9 is much cooler.

    • Matthew Reid

      They did use VS Jason

      • I was mainly referring to the attire, which was used in Freddy vs. Jason and then rehashed in the uninspired 2009 reboot (with slightly different colours). They also seem to be using it everywhere else as well (except Friday the 13th: The Game), an example of which being Mortal Kombat X.

  • Necro

I don’t know why but I like these!

  • Corey Miller

Hey this Corey from Nerdy Collectibles. Thank you for linking us on the post. As of now it’s scheduled for December but TLS might be pushing this product to January or February.

  • I usually hate these kinds of series, bu these look really freaking cool. I’ve never gotten into collecting “blind box” toys because I hate not knowing what I’m paying for, but I might chase this rabbit down its hole.

  • biff

The power of those toys is compelling me.

13.99 tho? I only want the IT Collection
