Meet Ash’s Daughter in First Images from “Ash vs. Evil Dead” Season 3!

Ten brand new episodes of “Ash vs. Evil Dead” are headed our way in Season 3, which we now know is premiering on Sunday, February 25, 2018. They promise to bring us “more grisly battles, ghoulish banter and more blood-drenched fun than ever,” and today we’ve got the first batch of images!

The images introduce Ash’s long-lost daughter, played by Arielle Carver-O’Neill!

“The third season finds Ash’s status in Elk Grove, Michigan has changed from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. Blood is thicker than water in the battle of good vs Evil Dead!”

The wickedly gore-filled series stars Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, the chainsaw-wielding anti-hero tasked with saving the world from evil; Lucy Lawless as Ruby, the unpredictable foe and occasional ally who has strong ties to the origin of the “Necronomicon;” Ray Santiago plays Pablo Simon Bolivar, Ash’s loyal sidekick and eternal optimist; and Dana DeLorenzo returns as Kelly Maxwell, orphaned in Season One and ready to kick some evil ass.

The Evil Dead original filmmakers Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell serve as executive producers on Season Three along with Ivan Raimi and Rick Jacobson. Mark Verheiden serves as Showrunner with Producer Moira Grant.

You can catch up on Seasons One and Two of “Ash vs Evil Dead” on the STARZ app.

Check out my life size Michael Myers I just finished

    • Professor Fartsparkles

You really nailed it, well done! I would probably wait till someone I loved was asleep and sneak that bad boy into their room, but I’m a sadist so…

    • Saturn

      Very cool.

  • MeeGhoulz

They seem to enjoy doing the show! Let’s hope they keep doing it for awhile!

  • Charlie

Fuck. This looks fucking awesome! Don’t you dare cancel it STARZ!

  • The mascot is genius. I hope this show never gets cancelled!

  • Grimphantom
    • J Jett

ME TOO! holy fuck that looks awesome!

  • J Jett

i was already excited for season 3 but after seeing the deadite mascot thing….i’m now fucking SO excited for this upcoming season! and even though it would have been awesome to have had Jane Levy be Ash’s daughter i’m cool with this new actress in the role. she’s gorgeous! and what’s up with the military backing the gang up? that’s so cool!

  • BreeBennett

Great!! Lucy Lawless is back! Love her.

    • MeeGhoulz

We all do. Talk about a GILF…

  • Creepshow

I didn’t care for the puppet last season, and now there’s a demented high school mascot. This show started to take me out of “The Evil Dead feel” last season. I will of course watch it, but won’t be surprised if this is the last season.

    • gjk2012 .

Not liking the high school theme either but will still watch also. Feb 25? I feel this Halloween will be lacking without this show.

      • Creepshow

I thought Lee Majors was majorly wasted in this show. I wanted to see him more. He was a great character, and then all of a sudden his face gets “power braked” on. Pfft.

        • Saturn

          He’s back for season 3.

          • Creepshow

How will we be able to tell it’s him, when he doesn’t have a face? Match the tire tread?

          • Saturn

Did you forget the part about time travel?

          • Creepshow

Yes. I was working diligently at forgetting about that. ; )

      • Professor Fartsparkles

To be fair, Ash isn’t exactly mature…

      • MeeGhoulz

He’s a dirty old man now, so schoolgirl fetish. It’s quite alright.

        • gjk2012 .

Wonder if Ash will have the hots for his daughter then he realizes later that it is his daughter.

          • MeeGhoulz

That’s so gross! And, of course he will!

  • Necro

I absolutely LOVE this show! That mascot looks fucking sinister in that image, I can’t wait for February! ‘Starz’ executives please do the right thing and give most of us what we want, and that’s a couple more seasons of this!

  • ZIPPERCHEST

Best horror show of all time.

  • Charlie

I don’t about you, folks, but I can’t take it anymore so I made a petition to request STARZ to renew Ash vs Evil Dead for Seasons 4 and 5. I think the reason why AvED has been kept so low-key around STARZ is because, perhaps, us as fans haven’t been as pro-active as we should have been. Perhaps, we let our guards down and took the show for granted. So let’s push back. I need your help though! Please share. https://www.change.org/p/starz-renew-ash-vs-evil-dead-for-season-4-and-season-5

    • Necro

That’s a good thing you’re doing Charlie! I appreciate it as well as some others I’m sure. I signed the petition so let’s hope it packs a punch!

      • Charlie

Cheers, man. We got 240+ signatures so far so we’re still small but I hope by the end of Feb 2018 we have enough signatures to get noticed by STARZ and convince them to give us another Season!

        • Saturn

Signed. Now you’re close to 800.

          • Charlie

Awesome! Thanks for the signature it means a lot! It’s a team effort after all and we’re such a small community. But guess what? We’ve actually reached 3,500 signatures now and Bruce Campbell himself tweeted the petition and signed it! Take another look! I legit think by February we can get at least 15,000 signatures, man. We’ll hit 4,000 by tomorrow, for sure. Who knows how much by the end of the week? Horns up!

          • Saturn

Happy to see it’s taking off so fast.
Hopefully it shall have the desired effect – now that would be…..groovy.

        • Necro

No problem! There’s time yet my friend! Cheers!

  • Jérémy Kuprowski

Not a huge fan of the high-school theme either… Of course, you can’t keep Evil Dead in a cabin-set for 5 seasons, but while the first two seasons felt really in-tone with the movies, the high-school idea seems out of place…

I’m also very wary about that “Dalton” dude. And the inclusion of Ash’s daughter (I hope she won’t get shoe-horned). I mean… The trio (or quartet if Ruby’s included) has been a staple of the serie since the first episode. We got to know them, to follow them through their challenges and struggles. So having one or even two new members will always feel off.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the moment the serie jumps the shark. But I really hope it won’t be.

    • Weresmurf

Because going back in time to the medieval period, time travelling there, having a full blown 3 stooges fight in a graveyard and all out war with your doppleganger isn’t jumping the shark already…

It’s jumping the shark, kicking in the atmospheric thrusters, circling around jupiter and astrohopping all the intergalactic sharks you can!

      • MeeGhoulz

        Danger5 had awesome highschool episodes…

      • Jérémy Kuprowski

Well, Army of Darkness also happens to be my least favourite movie for that same reason. And for those same reasons I didn’t enjoy the last two episodes of S2 as much as the rest. I totally understand that it was full of references to the WHOLE saga, but it felt it was just doing that : a mish-mash of references with very few thoughts put into progression.

I’m not saying AoD is bad, far from it. It’s still an hilarious movie with a couple of drinks. But for whatever reason, I often consider it non-canon (even though it is). It’s just so outlandish.

        • Weresmurf

It is indeed canon as of Season 3 apparently, they’re working the whole AOD storline into it :O

          • Saturn

Well we already knew it was canon due to one of the flashback scenes in season 2 where we see Ash’s car fall from the sky.

          • Weresmurf

Yep. Allegedly they go into even more detail this season. I really like how they’re trying to tie it all together. That poor car, it’s been through so damn much!!!

          • Saturn

The actually car possession scene wasn’t even the worst that “the classic” has been though over all these years!

    • qwef

I mean tbh the show never did enough to make me care for Pablo, Kelly or Ruby enough as characters.

      • Jérémy Kuprowski

Really? No judging there, but you don’t feel anything, not even for Kelly? I’d say she grew up quite a lot in Season 2. Now she does feel a bit like a lite version of Ash… But their banter is pretty nice. At least in my opinion.

        • qwef

Not really , they are just too freaking generic. The “badass” foulmouth chick that we get in almost every show and the racial minority butt of most jokes sidekick, Ruby is the classic boring antagonist. They could litterally go anywhere with an Ash vs Evil Dead tv show and they almost turn it into a buddy cop comedy but with deadites.

          • Jérémy Kuprowski

Maybe I’m blinded by my love of the franchise… Or by Bruce Campbell’s acting. I guess I let it pass even if it isn’t really original mostly because it has that “b-movie” tone to it.

Of course, it doesn’t make it acceptable. It’s not an universal excuse. But so far it didn’t refrain me from enjoying the show. Even the last two episodes (which I didn’t like that much) didn’t suffer from the characters IMO, but by wasting completely the time-traveling potential.

          • qwef

“Wasted potential” are the words i would use to describe Ash vs Evil Dead as a whole..

  • Polsdofer

I just finished season 2 on Blu-Ray. I love this show. That morgue scene was one of the most fucked up things i have ever seen in my life and i loved every bit of it!
