A Bunch of Horror Games Were Just Greenlit On Steam

SilenceOTS

Another batch of video games were greenlit on Steam yesterday, and among them was a slew of indie horror titles, many of which I wasn’t even aware of. Among the newly approved games is Dark Ocean, Silence of the Sleep, Dead Years, Haunted Investigations, The Saturn 9 Collection, White Noise Online, Zombies On A Plane, and They Breathe.

That batch of indies runs the gamut of horror, from zombies to the supernatural, post-apocalyptic, and even psychological. That much variety pretty much guarantees you’ll find one that appeals to you.

Head on over to Steam Greenlight for the full list.

I love AAA games, but for the horror genre, the indie scene seems to be making more of a splash lately.

Agreed. I’m excited for AAA horror games like Dying Light and The Evil Within, but there are some indie devs who are doing amazing things right now with games like The Forest, Routine, and Among the Sleep.

The Forest and The Grave are my most anticipated horror titles right now. I’m excited for Dying Light. I have heard some bad things about The Evil Within just recently from PAX, but I have faith in it because of Shinji Mikami.
