Originally published in 1983, author Harry Adam Knight’s Slimer is a relatively obscure horror novel, though it’s perhaps most notable for being adapted into the ’95 film, Proteus.
Over 30 years afters its original release, we’ve learned that Valancourt Books – an indie publisher dedicated to the rediscovery of rare, neglected and out-of-print horror, supernatural, gay-interest, and literary fiction – will soon be re-releasing Slimer!
Check out Valancourt’s new release art below.
In Slimer, “Shipwrecked drug smugglers reach an abandoned oil rig, only to discover it is inhabited by a genetically engineered organism that absorbs its victims.”
The publisher will also be re-releasing Knight’s The Fungus.
