‘House of Anomalies’ – Junji Ito and SCP-Inspired Horror Book Features Art by Trevor Henderson

Art by Trevor Henderson

Behind each door you’ll find a disturbing creature inside the pages of Super Eyepatch Wolf’s new horror book House of Anomalies, which is now up for pre-order through Hollow Press.

The creator explains, “House of Anomalies is heavily inspired by SCP, Junji Ito, and weird internet horror in general. The way this book works is that each section starts with an image of a door. You then turn the page to open the door, and reveal one of many distributing and horrifying creatures. Each one illustrated by one of the best horror artists on the planet.”

One of those featured artists is Siren Head creator Trevor Henderson, with a limited Collector’s Edition of House of Anomalies featuring a print of Trevor’s art signed by Trevor himself.

Each monster also has their own in-universe file that explains what they’re all about, including their behavior, history, and lore. What’s behind each door? You’ll have to find out for yourself.

Hollow Press previews, “Welcome to The House of Anomalies. This is a facility dedicated to containing anomalous beings. Some of these beings are exceedingly dangerous. The Anomalies should be immediately identifiable through their different doors. Please read their files thoroughly before carrying out your duties. Under no circumstances are the doors to be opened.”

House of Anomalies includes art by Abdou Bouam, David Romero (cinemamind), Eduardo Valdés-Hevia (Valdevia), Gabrielle Heller, Hazel Coonagh, helllst4r, Ivan Stan, Jane Gorelik (wah.ah.ah), Mimi Chio, Raquitiko (Marcos Granero), Rebecca Reynolds (Brobexx), spoogyoogie, Strange House, Suguru Tanaka and Trevor Henderson.
