‘Hellraiser Omnibus Volume 1’ from BOOM! Studios Reopens the Puzzle Box in November [Exclusive]
This year marks the 40th anniversary of Clive Barker’s The Hellbound Heart, the original novella that spawned the Hellraiser film franchise, and BOOM! Studios is celebrating this coming November with Hellraiser Omnibus Volume 1. We’ve got the exclusive scoop.
Releasing November 24, 2026 from BOOM! Studios, Hellraiser Omnibus Volume 1 is an expansive new edition that collects over 500 pages, offering fans and collectors a definitive continuation of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser saga and bringing fresh life to legendary horror icon Pinhead and his army of Cenobites.
This upcoming omnibus assembles the complete 2011 Hellraiser #1-20 comic series and the Hellraiser Annual #1, all created under Clive Barker’s close guidance and creative oversight.
The series serves as a canonical continuation of the original story, forever redefining the legacy of the Hellraiser mythos in a richly imagined, meticulously crafted horror narrative.
“I’m delighted to be partnering with BOOM! once again to create comics and graphic novels that will introduce both wild new projects, in addition to creating radical new visions of the kind of dark mythologies I’ve always been known for,” Clive Barker said. “There are a lot of doors waiting to be opened, and worlds of weird fantasy and horror waiting on the other side.”
“We had a hell of a run when we first published Hellraiser comics back in 2011,” said Bryce Carlson, Boom’s Deputy Publisher. “That content is long out of print and hard to come by, but we’re reopening the Lament Configuration 15 years later and unleashing hell once again for all the incredibly patient fans out there.”

Hellraiser Omnibus Volume 1 is being announced in the direct wake of the Hellraiser Leviathan’s Vault Kickstarter, which closed on March 19. BOOM! Studios explains, “While the Kickstarter edition offers an expanded, premium experience with exclusive content for collectors, both editions deliver unique value, celebrating the Hellraiser legacy in complementary ways. Kickstarter backers will receive their deluxe edition copies and rewards ahead of the Fall release of Hellraiser Omnibus Volume 1.”
Hellraiser Omnibus Volume 1 is distributed by Penguin Random House and available for preorder anywhere books are sold ahead of its release on November 24, 2026.

‘Curse of the Where Wolf’ Bites Into August Release With Trio of Werewolf Theatrical Screenings [Exclusive Preview]
Larry Chaney‘s hairy misadventures are continuing in the sequel graphic novel Curse of the Where Wolf from creative team Rob Saucedo, Debora Lancianese, and Jack Morelli, and its author is celebrating with a trio of horror’s greatest werewolf films.
The Curse of the Where Wolf hits shelves on August 7 from Encyclopocalypse Publications.
That coincides with the launch of a theatrical screening event in Houston, Texas, featuring a trio of seminal werewolf flicks turning 45 this year: The Howling on August 7, Wolfen on August 14, and An American Werewolf in London on August 21.
Each screening features a “werewolf in film” presentation as well as a book signing from Where Wolf author and River Oaks Theatre artistic director Rob Saucedo.
In the new graphic novel, “Being a werewolf sucks. Reporter Larry Chaney wanted to be a hero. Instead, he became a werewolf. Now, caught between incredible new powers and a desire to eat everything (and everyone) in sight, Larry must find a cure for his curse. Or die trying.”
“With Where Wolf, I wanted to tell a whodunit set in a furry convention, so the story was pretty contained within a very specific setting and genre. With Curse of the Where Wolf, I wanted to celebrate everything I love about the possibility of comic books. Curse of the Where Wolf is a funny book, in every sense of the phrase, but it’s also an earnest look at a person’s struggle to become a better version of themselves, especially when the alternative is to become a literal monster,” Saucedo says of Curse.
The original graphic novel was previously serialized as the first webcomic hosted on Fangoria before being collected by Encyclopocalypse Publications in 2023 and has already been optioned for film, podcast, and television development ahead of launch by producers James Fino (“The Freak Brothers” for Tubi, “Rick and Morty” for Adult Swim) and Charles Horak (First Date for Magnolia Pictures).
Expect Larry to find himself in even weirder situations in the 362-page full color sequel; Saucedo has provided Bloody Disgusting with exclusive art pages from the upcoming graphic novel that showcase lupine humor.
