Win a Copy of ‘DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark’
If you’re not familiar with DreadOut, it’s Fatal Frame with an Indonesian twist. It’s an obvious love letter to the classic survival horror series that inspired it, with a leading lady who uses the Camera Obscura app on her smartphone to vanquish creatures you probably won’t recognize unless you’re familiar with Indonesian cryptids and urban legends.
When DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark released on Steam last month, Digital Happiness sent me ten digital copies of the game that you’re about to have a chance at earning, if you can solve the riddle you don’t know you know and defeat Bloody Disgusting’s champion in mortal combat.
Or at Mortal Kombat, rather. Stupid autocorrect.
Actually, that sounds like a lot of work. How about a caption contest instead? What I want you to do is come up with a caption for this inspiring screenshot I found in Keepers of the Dark and submit it using the form I have for you below. You can submit as many captions as you want, all I ask is that you include your email with your submission and get it in by Wednesday, April 20 at 12PM CT, for that’s when I’ll choose the winners.

Described as “a gory mix of The Menu and Saw,” Corporate Retreat centers around a group of young executives whose luxury team-building trip descends into a bloody fight for survival against a vengeful retreat leader.
Odeya Rush (Goosebumps) fights her way through an eclectic cast that includes Sasha Lane (Twisters), Elias Kacavas (“Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin”), Ashton Sanders (Moonlight), Zión Moreno (“Gossip Girl”), Benjamin Norris (“Never Have I Ever”), Tyler Alvarez (“American Vandal”), Kirby Johnson (The Possession of Hannah Grace), Ellen Toland, Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction), and Alan Ruck (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off).
Aaron Fisher (Inside the Rain) directs from a script he co-wrote with Kerri Lee Romeo. Uri Singer (White Noise, Experimenter) produces via Passage Pictures.
Gary J. Tunnicliffe (Scream 4, Candyman) handled the film’s special makeup effects.
