Now on Digital HD and VOD platforms, Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant has also arrived on Blu-ray from Fox Home Entertainment.

There are almost 100 minutes of special features including an audio commentary from director Ridley Scott, 12 deleted scenes and a few featurettes, most of which we’ve already seen. The big documentary is Master Class: Ridley Scott which is almost an hour in length. Thankfully, the excellent Luke Scott-directed companions pieces are all included.

Michael Fassbender returns as Prometheus‘ android David (and Walter), with a crew that includes Katherine Waterston, Demian Bichir, Alex England (Gods of Egypt), Billy Crudup, Amy Seimetz (A Horrible Way to Die, “The Killing”), Jussie Smollett (“Empire”), Carmen Ejogo, Callie Hernandez (Machete Kills) and James Franco.

“Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”
