[Contest] Vudu Has the ‘Friday the 13th’ Collection on Sale and Provided Us With 13 Promotional Codes So You Can Buy It!

Published

on

It’s Friday the 13th and Vudu is celebrating with a massive horror sale, which includes an 8-film Friday the 13th collection for only $13 (retail is $49!) today only.

While the F13 deal is only available today, Vudu’s “Summer of Savings” sale runs all weekend long, with tons of horror films and series on sale individually and in bundles, all 25% off.

Here’s a quick breakdown:

  • Dozens of bundles are available for 25% off, including The Twilight Saga, Final Destination, Gremlins, It and Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice + Corpse Bride movie collections.
  • Twisted horror comedies like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Jennifer’s Body, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer for purchase in HDX at $9.99.
  • TV seasons of “Clarice,” “Bates Motel,” “Ash vs. Evil Dead,” available for purchase as low as $4.99.
  • Modern classics like Don’t Breathe, Halloween (2018), and It for 9.99, plus A Quiet Place for only $7.99.

As most of you know, I’m a heavy digital collector and a pretty huge fan of the Vudu streaming platform. My favorite feature of the service is that you can create your own “lists”, something I haven’t found anywhere else – I have lists for everything from Christmastime horror to Halloweentime, Satanic Horror, Slashers, Aquatic Horror, and more. The best aspect of this feature is that you can file a single movie in several lists (i.e. The Exorcist is in lists for “Satanic”, “Religious”, “Christmastime Horror”, and “Possession”).

Digressing, Bloody Disgusting is celebrating Friday the 13th with Vudu, who has provided us with a whopping 13 promotional codes, each for $20. You can use the codes however you want, but it would score you the aforementioned 8-film Friday the 13th collection and still leave you with $7 for another film or two!

Entering is insanely easy. All you have to do is sign up for Bloody Disgusting’s new mailing list: “The Rewind”. (Everyone who is already signed up will automatically be entered.)

Be quick because winners will be chosen at random today and today only.

Described as “a gory mix of The Menu and Saw,” Corporate Retreat centers around a group of young executives whose luxury team-building trip descends into a bloody fight for survival against a vengeful retreat leader.

Odeya Rush (Goosebumps) fights her way through an eclectic cast that includes Sasha Lane (Twisters), Elias Kacavas (“Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin”), Ashton Sanders (Moonlight), Zión Moreno (“Gossip Girl”), Benjamin Norris (“Never Have I Ever”), Tyler Alvarez (“American Vandal”), Kirby Johnson (The Possession of Hannah Grace), Ellen Toland, Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction), and Alan Ruck (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off).

Aaron Fisher (Inside the Rain) directs from a script he co-wrote with Kerri Lee Romeo. Uri Singer (White Noise, Experimenter) produces via Passage Pictures.

Gary J. Tunnicliffe (Scream 4, Candyman) handled the film’s special makeup effects.
