It’s Friday and I wanted to bring you one of my favorite videos from last year as this week’s Twisted Music Video Of The Week: Meshuggah‘s “I Am Colossus”! Shot in black and white and featuring some truly terrifying stop motion work, the video shows what it takes to raise a colossus. There are some incredibly unnerving moments (the spider creature on that guy’s face, for example) and this video feels like it was put together by a team that is 100% passionate about horror.
2014 marks the 25th anniversary of Meshuggah and they are celebrating it with a reissue of I (more here) as well as a live Blu-Ray/DVD entitled The Ophidian Trek, which can be pre-ordered here.
