I’m one of the few people who didn’t like this movie. I thought it did a fantastic job of building suspense and then did an absolutely terrible job at executing the scares.
“Oh, you want scary atmosphere? Here you go! And now here comes the scare!!! But let me gently fade it in because I’m worried about you and want to make sure you’re going to be okay… I’m nice like that.”
Don’t hold back the scares. Force them into my face so that I don’t know what to expect. Keep me on edge. It’s not too much to ask.
