There have been ten movies in the James Wan and Leigh Whannell-created SAW franchise, and with an eleventh on the way, the franchise is now getting its own 24/7 FAST channel.
Variety reports this week that Lionsgate will launch a SAW franchise FAST channel in time for Halloween, meaning you’ll be able to watch SAW movies 24/7 for free with ad breaks.
Lionsgate has teamed with LG Channels to launch the upcoming channel in the US & Canada.
The only catch? Only eight movies from the ten film franchise will be included.
Variety details, “Saw will have a standalone FAST channel for the first time, and in time for Halloween. Eight Saw movies will be available.”
Lionsgate and LG will also launch John Wick and The Hunger Games franchise channels.
“By turning fan-favorite movies into curated, limited-time viewing events around moments when they’re most relevant – from Saw for Halloween to John Wick for the holidays – LG Channels is making premium entertainment easy to discover and enjoy for free, while adding even more value to the LG Channels and webOS experience,” said Matthew Durgin of Media Entertainment Services.
The upcoming eleventh installment in the SAW franchise, meanwhile, will be directed by Mike P. Nelson. James Wan and Leigh Whannell are back to produce for Blumhouse Atomic Monster.
