The thing I love about having a ton of friends in the music industry is that I get turned onto all sorts of different music that I never would’ve heard about otherwise. Such is the case with Boston, MA post-metal group inAeona, who have an incredible sound that takes the aforementioned genre and tosses in industrial, rock, alt, and an anthemic attitude that makes this band sound absolutely huge.
This album has the bombastic theatricality of Muse with the vastness of Russian Circles gently mixed with the ferocity of Helms Alee and dashes of Tangerine Dream and Vangelis.
I’ve included a stream of the band’s 2013 tour EP below for you to check out. I can’t any of the tracks because I wholly believe that each one has its own merits and the whole package is far better than the individual pieces.
