The Dark
I hope I’m not the only one that gets the heebie jeebies from the dark. When I turn out the light downstairs and have to go up the stairs, it often takes a lot of discipline and restraint to not run up as fast as I can. Something about that blackness being able to hide something sinister, something violent, just terrifies me. Give me a light and I’m fine. Take it away and I’ll begin to feel the hair on the back of my neck start to rise.
