6. Housebound
I love this poster. Obviously, it’s supposed to resemble a family portrait, which it does. It also subtly conveys the horror and comedy aspects of the film. The facial expression of the daughter gives off the seriousness of the horror whereas the goofy expression on the mother’s face conveys the comedy. The fact that it looks hand-drawn is pretty cool too. Oh yeah, and the ghostly figure in the background.
