The Taking Of Deborah Logan
You know what I loved about this movie? The fact that they not only didn’t go down the whole “priest is going to exorcise the demon” route, they completely mocked it by having a priest basically say, “Get her to a doctor, you weirdo!” That right there gives this movie some serious bonus points.
Then add in the fact that it actually really does get creepy and you’ve got an effective and surprisingly original found footage film that caught me entirely by surprise.
