Bram Stoker’s Dracula
This is, I feel, the ultimate in romantic horror films. Dracula’s motives through nearly the whole movie and driven by his desire to be with Mina Harker, the near spitting image of his deceased wife Elisabeta, who had committed suicide thinking him dead. While he may be a raging destructive machine, he is nothing but gentle and thoughtful with Mina, even going so far as to try to convince her to not become a vampire, even though it would mean they could be together forever.
