3. Bride of Chucky
Full confession: I love Bride of Chucky. I think Jennifer Tilly added a much-needed spark the Child’s Play franchise needed at the time and it worked, despite the fact that the movie was significantly more comedic than the previous entries. That being said, the VHS box art is somewhat inspired. It’s extremely minimal in it’s design but that kind of works to its favor. Not to mention the tagline, which I always thought was particularly clever (I’m a sucker for rhymes). It just doesn’t have the wow factor that the final two entries on this list have, hence its placement at number three.
