It Knows How Ridiculous It Is
The major problem with the first few episodes of Salem was that it took itself way too seriously. Not the case anymore. Sure, there’s still a bit of heavy-handed lecturing and things like that, but Salem has now fully embraced its ridiculousness and become the campy show it was always been meant to be. This is a show where a woman “breastfed” a frog using a nipple located on her inner thigh. No one will take that seriously, and it’s good that Salem finally realized it.
