The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
I saved this one for last because it is without a doubt my favorite trailer of all time. Looking back on it now, I still think it holds up. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is remembered for being the one that started the remake trend in the early oughts, but I honestly think this trailer was a big reason for the film’s success. It utilizes the camera snap from the original film, the music (especially that last piece) is great and it did actually trick people into thinking it was based on a true story (I mean, yes Ed Gein was real, but Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a fairly loose adaptation of his killings). This is how you make a trailer.
