Malcolm Kills Mina
The first season of Penny Dreadful came to a dramatic close as Malcolm and Vanessa finally located Mina. After eight episodes of searching, she had already been turned into a vampire. Malcolm had no choice but to kill his only daughter, in order to save her best friend. It was a heartbreaking moment, but allowed Vanessa and Malcolm to finally come to terms with their history (as a child, she witnessed him having sex with her mother, which was the catalyst for pretty much everything that went wrong in the first season).
