Beetlejuice
I never really appreciated this movie as a child. In fact, I hated it when I was younger. But now, as an adult, I appreciate it’s incredible wit, charm, and visuals. The practical FX here are beyond fantastical, simply because nothing is sacred and nothing needs to be bound in the “real world”. By having the story be about ghosts, any visuals are allowed! And man oh man did they nail it!
