The Thing
I can’t create a list without referencing early John Carpenter – so much of his work has influenced me. The paranoia among the characters and the grotesque and groundbreaking effects make this one of the scariest creature films of all time. Having recently produced a film with Kurt Russell this film means even more to me now.
