Lori Quaid – Total Recall (1990)
Technically Lori Quaid and Douglas Quaid were never married in Total Recall. Douglas, whose real name is actually Hauser, used to work for Governor Cohaagen of Mars. When Hauser learned Cohaagn was searching for an ancient alien artifact, he underwent a memory wipe to protect himself. The fake marriage comes into play when Hauser learns it was all a memory implant and Lori was sent by Cohaagen to monitor Hauser.
Lori is chock-full of crazy. I mean your box has to be missing a few crayons for you to willingly participate in a fake marriage to watch over someone who already had a memory wipe. Furthermore, her real husband is Richter. What sane person marries Richter?
