Quint – Jaws
The reason I love Quint is because he’s such a character! He’s funny, he’s wry, he’s fleshed out, and he’s just a joy to watch, thanks to Robert Shaw’s unforgettable performance. The “Indianapolis” speech is one of the greatest moments in the film, taking the fantasy of the movie and connecting it to a real life tragedy, making the film all the more real and immediate.
