Sigourney Weaver as ‘Ellen Ripley’ – Alien3
I’ve written about this movie before and how much I love it. And no, that’s not a joke. I really do actually enjoy the hell out of this movie.
But when it comes to leading roles, in my opinion this is Ellen Ripley at her finest. Broken down, desperate for even the simplest of distractions, and then realizing she’s the host to an alien queen, she still manages to find the strength to help those around her. Her persistent goodness is beyond admirable.
