Okay, maybe not terrifying, but there is just something about pageant girls that is supremely disturbing. I will never be able to understand how mothers can dress up their daughters in full make-up and parade them around like Barbies. My opinion on child pageants aside, these poor girls have an ethereal, plastic daze about them. It really weirds me out.
