Deadly Blessing ***NSFW***
Deadly Blessing is one of Wes Craven’s lesser known films (even though it features Sharon Stone in one of her earliest film roles), but it’s one of the better ones. You wouldn’t know that based on all of the negative reviews, though. One of the main reasons it was received poorly upon it’s release in 1982 was its ending, which featured a twist ending involving a transgender character’s de-shirting and the reveal of a supernatural monster called the Incubus. It was a little bit too much, but it’s absolutely bonkers and one of the reasons I love the film.
