In this classic Treehouse of Horror segment The Simpsons brilliantly parody the original King Kong. Mr. Burns gathers a group of sailors to go to Ape Island and capture a giant ape (Homer) and bring him back to entertain audiences. The black and white animation is some of my favorite. And maybe best of all, this segment features Barney yelling, “Wow! Look at the size of that platform!”
