As you might expect, I’ve focused a lot of my Halloween costumes on horror movie serial killers, with a random one thrown in every now and then for good measure (in college I once went as a “Slutty Male Poison Ivy.” Don’t ask). This year I decided to pay another tribute to Wes Craven, so my partner and I decided to go as Billy and Stu from Scream. We even tried to match the blood stains on their clothes from the finale. The idea is that we’ll take the robes off halfway through the night since that mask is a real pain in the ass to wear all night. And of course, we dressed our dog, Coach McGuirk, up as Freddy Krueger (or Coachy Krueger, as we’re calling him tonight).
