Unnamed Virus (Carriers)
For once, the virus isn’t the star of the film its in. Carriers makes its lead characters the centerpiece, with the virus merely a backdrop to the chaos emerging between the quartet of central characters (a pre-Star Trek Chris Pine, pre-Evil Dead Lou Taylor Pucci, pre-Captain America Emily VanCamp and…Piper Perabo). The virus in Carriers is so scary because it is so easy to contract. Be it by bodily fluid of even someone’s breath, it could get to you. Death is certain when you contract this virus.
