We’re sorry that last week’s edition of Horror Trip couldn’t make it but sometimes personal issues arise and all of our emotional, intellectual, and physical energy have to be put there. But Ragnar’s back and he’s got a doozy of a video for us!
Pretty much all of us have seen Ridley Scott’s 1979 masterpiece of sci-fi/horror Alien. It’s a stunning blend of gothic beauty with the coldness of space to create a wonderful sense of isolation, thereby solving the conundrum of haunted houses: aka “Why don’t you just get the hell out?”
For this week’s Horror Trip, host Ragnar takes us into the film but goes beyond the silver screen and into real life to introduce us to the inspiration of the Xenomorph. I’m not going to ruin it for you but there is a species of creature that resides on our very own planet that will make you forget about the beauty of nature and marvel at its cruelty.
