This Halloween season, Bloody Disgusting is partying like it’s 2019!
Since this decade is quickly coming to a close, we’re celebrating by looking back at some of the best horror movies the decade has to offer. Our 31 Days of Halloween features a wide variety of fantastic horror from 2010-2019, curated and organized for maximum holiday fun. We’ve even given each weekday its own theme!
Every single day in October, we’ll delve into the daily pick to explain why it was selected and what makes it a decade standout. Moreover, it’ll be a place to discuss that day’s pick.

Here’s how it works:
Monday: Horror Comedies. Because who doesn’t need a pick me up at the start of the work week?
Tuesday: Supernatural Spooks. What’s Halloween without ghosts? To quote Sheriff Bracket, “It’s Halloween, everyone’s entitled to one good scare.”
Wednesday: Devil’s Night. Devil’s Night falls on a Wednesday this year, so every Wednesday is dedicated to demons, devils, and the occult. Since Devil’s Night is a night for mischief, it seems like the ideal day to gather up our friends- that’s you- and revel in the darkness together. Every Wednesday night at 7pm CST/8pm EST, we’re live-tweeting along with the daily pick using hashtag #BloodyHalloween. To make it even easier, we’ve chosen movies you can find for free on streaming platforms.
Thursday: Witches Night Out. This decade has been very kind to the witch, a central figure of Halloween iconography.
Fridays: Franchise Friday. A salute to some of the finest entries in popular horror franchises.
Saturday: Family Fun. Remember Saturday morning cartoons? These films are meant to invoke that spirit, and gather horror-loving families together.
Sundays: The Wild Card. The start of a brand-new week – who knows what that brings? Great horror, that’s what.
