A Depressed Ash Drinks and Drives in This Exclusive “Ash vs Evil Dead” Clip

on

We don’t condone drinking and driving, but in this exclusive clip from this Sunday’s “Ash vs Evil Dead” a drunk Ash takes the wheel of the Delta and drives the crew to the franchise’s legendary cabin for one final battle.

On Sunday, December 4th, Ash (Bruce Campbell) heads back to the cabin that he survived in Sam Raimi’s The Evil Dead. He would return once more before battling the deadite army in Army of Darkness. In the 2013 Evil Dead, Mia (Jane Levy) and her friends unleash the demon horde in the same cabin (never confirmed, but it is), setting up Ash’s return in Starz’s “Ash vs Evil Dead”. Last season Ash’s battle with Ruby ended at the aforementioned cabin, which led to his retirement in Florida. Now, with Season 2 coming to an end, it looks like he’s headed back…again. But this time he’s hoping to turn back time and stop himself from ever coming across the Necronomicon! Talk about remaining in-canon…

In episode 9, “Home Again”, directed by Rick Jacobson, “Distraught over the loss of Pablo, Ash and the gang attempt to travel back in time to ensure that young Ash will never see the Necronomicon.

Yup, they’re bringing this baby full circle and Ash is ready, brimming with 35 years of vengeance in his heart. I have no idea where they’re headed with this but I can only hope it caps off a perfect season that was nothing short of blissful joy to watch.
