Lionsgate Limited is getting “Hip to be Square” with a brand new American Psycho 4K Ultra HD box set for the film’s 25th anniversary, and our exclusive video reveals all the gorgeous details.
The box set is available to pre-order now, ahead of its release on December 9.
Patrick Bateman is a young, handsome, Harvard-educated, Wall Street success, seemingly perfect with his stunning fiancée and entourage of high-powered friends. But his circle of friends doesn’t know the other Patrick Bateman, the one who lusts for women, wealth, and the ultimate crime ― murder!
Based on Bret Easton Ellis’s controversial 1991 novel, the 2000 satirical serial killer thriller directed by Mary Harron is presented uncut in 4K with Dolby Vision HDR. The set itself, housed in packaging designed around the iconic image of Christian Bale by world-renowned portrait photographer Martin Schoeller, features collectibles, like business cards.
The 4K Ultra HD disc is housed in a CD jewel case that parodies the Huey Lewis and the News Sports album cover, and includes art direction by the album’s original photographer and colorist, Bennett Hall.
