Shudder is already neck deep in their Season of Screams celebration for Halloween and beyond, and the festivities are being kicked up a notch now that October is finally here.
This year’s Season of Screams runs through the end of the year and features a supersized lineup of new film releases, series, specials, screening events, and live watch parties on Shudder TV.
Shudder’s Season of Screams features highly anticipated premieres every Friday through the end of the year, including Parasomnia; a new installment in the popular V/H/S franchise, V/H/S/Mixtape; the found footage breakout hit Infirmary, body horror thriller Bloody Tennis; supernatural nightmare The Cycle; the Milly Shapiro-led Hallowarrior; a new season of The Creep Tapes; the 2026 FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards; and a new Halloween special, Joe Bob’s Halloween House Party.
This Halloween we’re also getting an all-new Ghoul Log special, the annual twist on the traditional holiday yule log. Titled Curse of the Ghoul Logs, this year’s sequel was created by the filmmakers behind Shudder’s buzzy new feature Hallowarrior. They didn’t just resurrect everyone’s favorite jack-o-lantern; they’re giving multiple pumpkins the spooky spotlight.

The new hour-long Curse of the Ghoul Logs sets the scene beginning October 1!
And then in Hallowarrior, which premieres October 16, “Pumpkin (Milly Shapiro), the last girl on earth and sole survivor of a humanity-ending plague, scavenges the wasteland for supplies on the eve of Halloween. Pumpkin’s lonely holiday ritual is interrupted by the arrival of a savage gang of raiders at her doorstep led by Thalia (Shannyn Sossamon). Outnumbered and armed with candy, wit and weapons, Pumpkin must ferociously fight back to survive the night.”
