Watch The First 10 Minutes Of ‘Insidious: Out Of The Further’! [Exclusive]

Insidious: Out of the Further opening 10 minutes

Available to watch at home today is Insidious: Out of the Further, the latest chapter that brings the denizens out of the Further into our world, including some fan favorites. ‘Tis the season for scares, and we’re exclusively sharing the chilling opening 10 minutes from the film.

Watch the opening sequence below that introduces a deeply traumatic childhood moment for young Gemma (Charli Penton) that will set the tone and trajectory for the sixth installment of this series.

There’s something seriously wrong with her mother (Laura Gordon)…

The film follows Gemma (Amelia Eve, “The Haunting of Bly Manor”), a mother raising her daughter in the house she grew up in, who discovers she can travel into The Further, the purgatorial realm of lost souls at the heart of the Insidious universe. When something evil comes after her, Gemma discovers an ability that changes everything: she doesn’t just enter The Further; she can bring what lives there back to the real world. Once the demons realize her power, our world becomes their playground.

The latest entry does feature a few knock out set pieces and scares, like the one below, that also include a nasty trip to the dentist’s office and a very liminal trip through a pillow fort.

Jacob Chase (Come Play) writes and directs the franchise’s sixth installment, sharing story credit with David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring: Last Rites, Orphan).

Franchise star Lin Shaye reprises her role as Elise Rainier.  Brandon Perea (Nope), Island Austin (What Happened to Doris?), and Maisie Richardson-Sellers (“Legends of Tomorrow”) also star. Sam Spruell plays the malevolent entity known as Cyrus.

Jason Blum, Oren Peli, James Wan, and Leigh Whannell produce, with Johnson-McGoldrick, Ryan Turek, Steven Schneider, and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones as executive producers.

Watch Insidious: Out of the Further at home today, and look for it on Blu-ray and DVD on December 1.
